Installation & Maintenance

1. Connect hoses to swivel fittings and position the canister below or beside your tank.
2. Fill filter with aquarium water, secure lid with clamps, then prime using the manual pump.
3. Load media baskets from coarse to fine, start filter, and activate UV sterilizer.
4. To service: close valves, remove head to disable UV, swap media, and resume operation.
5. Replace UV lamp after approximately 8 000 hours for continued clarity .
