How to Use:

🐚Whole Shells – Place them in the substrate or decor for slow calcium release.

When to Avoid Using Oyster Shells

🚫Softwater Tanks – If you keep softwater fish (like bettas, tetras, or certain shrimp species), oyster shells might raise hardness too much.

🚫pH-Sensitive Fish – Some fish, like discus, prefer more acidic conditions, so adding oyster shells might not be ideal.
